This quick ice cream topping is a healthy alternative and delicious served with a sprinkle of nuts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2 JOYA\u00ae apples, in the skin, cut in thin slices<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>15 ml (1 tbsp) butter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>15 ml (1 tbsp) olive oil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>60 ml (\u00bc cup) honey<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>10 ml (2 tsp) finely grated lemon rind<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>30 ml (2 tbsp) lemon juice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>7,5 ml (\u00bd tbsp) ground cinnamon or mixed spice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>vanilla ice cream scoops<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>flaked almonds, toasted<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>fresh mint leaves<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Method:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Heat a griddle pan over medium-high heat and pan-fry apple slices in batches until they start to soften and are grilled. Remove and set aside.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add butter, oil, honey, lemon rind and juice and spices to pan.
